Welcome to Frontline Fife Homelessness Services.
Frontline Fife, a product of a merger in 2007 between Levenmouth Homeless Trust and Open Door Fife, has 55 employees and a turnover of approximately £1.4m.
Fife has the third largest number of homelessness presentations in Scotland, after Glasgow and Edinburgh. Whilst having the problems on a scale with that of a city, Fife has the added complication of being geographically large with sizeable population centres spread across the county; Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Levenmouth and Cupar/St Andrews. This challenges the distribution of resources between centres of population to meet with local need.
We aim to work with people threatened with or experiencing homelessness to design and deliver services focused on lessening the impact that homelessness has on people’s lives. We work to prevent homelessness through education, advice, advocacy, support and delivery of services. Through our work we strive to ensure that people experiencing homelessness are equal participants in this process.
