Frontline Fife is a key player within Fife Council’s Homelessness Strategy and we have embraced the partnership approach with the Local Authority to jointly deliver under the Home4Good brand.
Home4Good operate a series of ‘one-stop shops’ within Fife, offering assistance to people facing homelessness or housing difficulty with the expertise and wider support to enable them to work to resolve their present difficulties.
Frontline Fife co-ordinate the delivery of a wide variety of services from the centres in Cupar, Leven, Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy, with another centre planned for Glenrothes soon.
The first point of contact at the Home4Good Centres is the Resource Centre Workers who will gather information on circumstances and needs and, if necessary, signpost to the person most able to deal with the enquiry. They can help with filling out housing applications, benefit forms, provide general housing advice and information and help with practical issues such as credit union, employability and health????? They can also go through the homeless process and refer onto Fife Council’s Homeless Callpoint to register as homeless or request emergency accommodation.
