SIMD 2016

Following on from the most recent update to the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD) at the end of August 2016, the Scottish Government have also published a Statistical Bulletin which provides advice and information on the findings of the SIMD, and identifies areas of poverty and inequality in Scotland.

Waid Academy Transform their Tenners!

S2 students at The Waid Academy in Anstruther showed their entrepreneurial skills by raising a whopping £2,000 for Frontline Fife through The Tenner Challenge!  The Challenge is a national project for young people aged 11 - 19 and gives them the opportunity to take a business idea and turn it into reality by starting with £10 to take calculated risks, make a profit and make a difference to their nominated charity.
