Respectful Behaviour

At Frontline Fife we aim to work with people in a mutually respectful and dignified way which supports equality, fairness, and inclusion for all. We take a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of harassment, bullying, or victimisation when we engage as a staff team, with service users and with members of the public.

We all agree that harassment is unacceptable, demeaning to the victim and detrimental to building psychologically safe environments. Therefore, we will take steps to reduce the risk or experience of harassment and respond to concerns as guided by our Harassment and Bullying policy.

What is Harassment?

Harassment is defined as any unwanted behaviour that has the purpose or effect of violating someone else’s dignity, or creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment, where the behaviour either:

  • relates to a Protected Characteristic (which the law defines as: age; disability; gender reassignment; marriage and civil partnership; pregnancy and maternity; race or ethnicity; religion or belief; sex; and sexual orientation), or;
  • is sexual in nature.

Staff, service users and the public should feel able to recognise, challenge, and complain about harassment and bullying with confidence that their concerns will be treated with the utmost seriousness and investigated fairly and promptly. To report concerns about harassment in relation to Frontline Fife you should raise a concern or make a formal complaint by either completing this form or by contacting our Head Office by emailing info@frontlinefife.co.uk or by phoning 01592 800 430.

If you need help to raise a concern or to make a formal complaint, then let us know and we will support you. You will find more information about the transparent process on our website.
